济南校区图书馆始建于1958年，随着学校办学规模的不断扩大，图书馆从原有的几间平房搬进了现有的图书馆大楼。目前，图书馆现有面积7500平方米，阅览座位600余个。一层为报告厅、采编部；二层为办公区、查询及自助借还区、自助打印区、红色资源专区、社会科学外文原版书藏书区、新书展示区、沙龙活动区、休闲阅读讨论区；三层为中外文自然科学藏书区、安静阅览学习区、电子资源查阅区、多功能研讨室；四层为社会科学书库、安静阅览学习区域、多功能研讨室。

图书馆现有在职工作人员14人，其中，副研究馆员4人，硕士研究生以上学历5人。图书馆拥有较为丰富的文献资源，现有纸质藏书11万余种，30多万册，其中外文原版图书近1万册；电子期刊两万多种，近80万册；电子图书近130万册；音视频总量超11万小时。其文献资料主要涉及电力电子、计算机、机械、工业设计、经济管理等社会科学和自然科学各类资源，另外还有丰富的中外文电子资源，如CNKI中国期刊全文数据库和博硕论文库、Web of Science、超星图书全文数据库、影像文献资源等。图书馆举办阅读推广、读书沙龙等活动、推出文创产品、开展信息咨询和各类电子资源培训讲座，承担校区本科生《文献检索》公共选修课程，逐班开展新生入馆培训；提供文献查收查引、学术不端文献检测等多种服务。

校区图书馆在校党委、行政的正确领导下，紧密结合校区三大功能区的定位，在空间优化升级、服务创新、文化建设上，始终坚持“为教学、科研服务”的宗旨，秉承“读者至上，服务育人”的理念，不断加强基础工作，全面规范规章制度，优化业务流程，强化服务意识，拓展服务范围，深化服务内涵，最大限度地满足读者需求，为学校的教学科研提供切实可行的文献信息保障。

Overview of Jinan Campus Library

Founded in 1958, the library has completed its transformation from original bungalows to the present library building with the continuous expansion and development of the university. Currently, the library building covers 7,500 square meters and has more than 600 seats. On the first floor are the Lecture Hall and the Purchasing&Cataloging Office. On the second floor, there are different areas for offices, information, self-service borrowing and returning, self-service printing, red resources, original foreign language books of social science, latest books, salon, and leisure & discussion. On the third floor, there are areas for natural science collections in both Chinese and foreign languages, reading and learning, electronic resources information, and multi-functional seminar rooms. A social science book stack, a reading and learning area and multi-functional seminar rooms are on the fourth floor.

Currently there are 14 in-service staff, four of whom have senior technical titles, and five of whom have received master's degrees. The library has rich literature resources including a paper collection of over 110,000 kinds and over 30,0000 volumes, some of which are nearly 10,000 original foreign language books. More than 20,000 electronic journals, with nearly 800,000 copies; nearly 1.3 million e-books; the total amount of audio and video exceeds 110,000 hours. The literature mainly involves various social and natural resources such as power electronics, computers, machinery, industrial design, economic management, etc. In addition, there are abundant electronic resources in both Chinese and foreign languages, such as CNKI China Journal Full-Text Database and Doctoral & Master Thesis Database, Web of Science, Hyperstar Book Full-Text Database, and image literature resources. The library organizes activities such as reading promotion and reading salons, launches cultural and creative products, offers information consultation and various electronic resources training lectures, undertakes the elective course "Document Retrieval" for undergraduate students on campus, conducts library introduction course class by class for freshmen, provides multiple services such as document retrieval and citation, and detection of academic misconduct.

Under the correct leadership of the university Party Committee and Administration, Jinan Campus Library closely combines the positioning of the three major functional areas of the campus, always adheres to the purpose of "serving teaching and scientific research" in terms of spatial optimization and upgradation, service innovation, and cultural construction, adhering to the concept of "readers first, service education" and constantly enhances basic service comprehensively standardizes rules and regulations, optimizes work processes, improves service awareness, expands service scope, and deepens service contents. The library not only meets the needs of readers to the maximum extent but also provides practical documentary information guarantee for teaching and research of the university.
